Seniors at Poet’s Walk memory care community in Round Rock took part in a “cross country” wheelchair race on Monday to kick off National Assisted Living Week. The race course had seniors circling the outside of the community, and the top three winners received gold medals. The seniors held a celebration party afterward, which included singing the National Anthem.
