Seniors Host a Festive Kick-Off Party for the San Antonio Fiesta Benefiting Alzheimer’s Association

The seniors of Poet’s Walk San Antonio got their fiesta started early on April 19, 2017 to kick off the 9-day long citywide Fiesta Celebration. They sold fajitas, sash medals, raffle tickets and hand crafted Fiesta hats during the event to benefit the Alzheimer Association.

During the Fiesta kick-off party, there was live music from mariachi and local bands that had everyone dancing like salsa pros. There was even an Elvis impersonator! The Poet’s Walk community created a fiesta sash medal made up of Care Flowers. San Antonio’s popular radio station, KONO101, featured the day’s activities on-air live, prior and during the special event.
